Another funny ad for Cars.com this year. “Particularly the bengals.” Very funny line. But it goes against the Super Bowl style of humor, as it’s more Wes Anderson funny than Three Stooges funny.
It’s their second year of using the “everybody’s-a-freaked-out-idiot-when-it-comes-to-buying-a-car” strategy, as seen in their 2009 Super Bowl ad, which was a top 10 ad according to the 2009 USA Today ad meter. Funny? Yep. Funniest? Doubt it.
